Complete Overhaul

A full overhaul is the only work that resets a watch's clock. Everything else buys time; this restores it. The movement comes apart completely, every part is inspected under magnification, and anything worn is replaced rather than patched up. It is the single most worthwhile thing you can do for a mechanical watch, and on a five-to-seven year cycle it is considerably cheaper than the repair that follows neglecting it.

What the work includes

4. 04Re-lubricated with Swiss oils, correct grade per bearing
5. 05Regulated across five positions on the timing machine
6. 06New case gaskets and a full pressure test
7. 07Case and bracelet lightly refinished unless you ask otherwise
