Tropical dials, faded bezels, obsolete parts. We keep the age and fix the fault.
Vintage work is mostly about restraint. Originality now decides value more than condition does, so the job is to fix the fault without erasing the age. A tropical dial, a faded bezel and an honest case are the watch's history, and they cannot be added back once they have been polished away.
